Since we started the restrictions to what we can do, a number of interesting actions have surfaced. This is one of them. We have decided to publish the sermons made during the ‘lockdown’, so they can be read whenever one has the time and inclination. If it should prove popular, we may well make it a permanent feature. The collection will grow week by week.
Fifth Sunday of Easter Evensong
St John’s Church is in the village of Little Gidding in Cambridgeshire. The former medieval church was restored and altered by Nicholas Ferrar around 1625, rebuilt in 1714 and restored and altered in 1853 with a late C19 south vestry. The church is dedicated to St John the Evangelist and is a Grade I listed building.
